Nowadays NERLEI has around 630 members. Of these, the majority, around 270, carry out their activity in the municipality of Leiria. Alcobaça, Marinha Grande, Porto de Mós, Batalha, Peniche and Caldas da Rainha are the others municipalities with more members companies. Meanwhile, the Association has members in all the municipalities which make up the district of Leiria and also several firms from other parts of the country.

At a sector-based level, 44 per cent of the members belong to the industrial sector, 31 per cent to the services sector, 21 per cent to the commercial sector and the rest fall into the construction and tourism sectors.

Our list features prominent members such as several higher educational and professional teaching establishments and also several associations with a sectorial background, namely connected with moulds, wood, plastics and the construction industry and, still more, a group of firms from the glass sector, a local entrepreneurial association and a commercial association.
